This Functional Skills Mathematics Level 1 and Level 2 aims to promote mathematical thinking and transferable skills rather than wrote learning. Students will also cover:

• Mathematics that is useful in everyday situations and the world of work.
• Contextual material, which emphasises the benefits of Maths to people who have been ‘turned off’ by the subject.

Who the course is aimed at?

The Functional Mathematics specification is suitable for students of various ages and from diverse background in terms of lifelong learning.

The Level 1 qualification in Functional Mathematics provides a good basis for progression to Level 2 in Functional Mathematics and GCSE.

Requirements

HOW TO ENROL:

All students will be required to complete a mock test, which will include Mathematics test.

Test of Functional Skills Mathematics:

It takes 1 hour and the answers are only written with a computer, which makes time is led by this one.

Results of Functional Skills English:

Each part is graduated upon points, and the final result is on percentage. You need to get 60 % to pass.
