DET (DTLLS)
The Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector (DTLLS) or the Diploma in Education and Training (DET) level 5 allows you to become a Qualified Teacher/ trainer
Entry Requirements
- Experience and a qualification in the subject you intend to teach at a minimum of Level 3
- Access to teaching in a full teacher role in the lifelong learning sector for at least 150 hours.
- 75 hours for the subsidiary diploma.
- Literacy and Numeracy at Level 2.
- Interview and assessment.

- Teachers or trainers working or seeking work in the lifelong learning sector who wish to obtain QTLS (Qualified Teacher, Learning and Skills) status.

- Start date: Any Monday
- Course time: Times may change subject to demand
- Classes: Friday 11 am to 1 pm / 3 pm to 5 pm / 6 pm to 8 pm.
Class size: Max 10 (average class size 5)
Minimum age: 19
